As an experienced instructional design lead and change manager; my background spans all sectors, including sales, financial services, manufacturing, technology, and government. The combination of instructional design and change management experience directly relates to project management, which is what led me to acquire a certification as an Agile Scrum Master. The roles of Instructional Designer and Change Management are inherently interconnected, and possessing both skills distinguishes me from others.

My design approach begins with building a relationship. Once we have gotten to know each other, we analyze your needs. From the data I collect, I generate a recommendation that comprises the 70-20-10 model for optimal sources of learning. I consider your vision, your constraints, and your future goals and plans. You have multiple opportunities to provide inputs, review and approve the design, and sign off on the work at each stage of development. Change Management Approach: I help organizations implement change management successfully. I have a proven process developed to help organizations attain long-term success during and after implementing their new software, process, or strategy. I get to know your business and ensure that I fully understand the objectives and the desired results of the change. I provide a clear view of the as-is and the to-be processes, meet regularly to mitigate any negative implications of change and identify training and readiness needs to land the change. I ensure that the scope of the change is well-documented and defined, KPIs are established and measurable, and executive sponsorship is obtained. I always provide effective communication. I take a 3-pronged approach to communication: Tell them, tell them you told them, and then tell them again.
